I got an offer from Ericsson IPI in Rockville, MD to work there as a full time
software engineer after my internship ends. I now live in Gaithersburg, Maryland, about 15 miles north of D.C.
Washington is about 200 miles from the ocean, 40 from the Chesapeake bay, 100 from the appalachian mountains,
about just 2 1/2 hours driving from Philadelphia and 4 hours from New York.
Even though the greater Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area has about 7.5 million inhabitants, it is a great place to live, very green and wooden, a lot of parks and a nice downtown. The quality of life there is just much better than all
the places I have ever lived or seen in Europe till now.
