Bryce Canyon is known for its unique
geology: horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters.
Erosion has shaped colorful Claron limestones, sandstones, and mudstones
into thousands of spires, fins, pinnacles called "hoodoos". Ponderosa pines, high-elevation meadows, and fir-spruce forests border the rim of this canyon
A lot of snow there in winter, it is a high elevation park, about 9000ft(2700m).
